Manju Warrier supports Dileep’s movie ‘Ramaleela’ : Here’s the reason

Dileep’s next film Ramaleela has finally been slated to hit the screens on September 28.However, the political thriller will be locking horns with the actor’s ex-wife Manju Warrier’s upcoming movie Udaharanam Sujatha.

Actress Manju Warrier, is the latest to take Facebook support to say that no one must talk about banning ‘Ramaleela’, and she has a fair explanation for it too.

She has begun her post by talking about her own movie ‘Udaharanam Sujatha’, which is releasing on the same date as ‘Ramaleela’, which is September 28. And she moves on to explain why no one should talk about banning ‘Ramaleela’.

She has said that it is not right to show our personal difference or to a movie. She explains that each movie is a collective effort of many and doesn’t belong to one particular person, and what is invested in a movie is not just money, hard work, or creativity but so much more. She has said that the relationship between a movie and its makers doesn’t end with just getting paid.

She explains that it’s when a movie becomes a success and enjoyed by the audience that the people who worked behind it feels the true joy, and that is more than money. And it is for this joy that they work day-in and day-out.

She has also said that cinema is a livelihood for many families –that it is the food, medicine and text books for many. And if you remove keep movies away from theatres, there wouldn’t be producers to finance movies anymore, and this should not happen.

She further said that each person who have worked behind a movie has the right to desire that the movie must come to theatres and everyone enjoys it. And no one has the right to deny that joy to these people because that would be an injustice to movies, which will not be pardoned by time.

Hence, let the audience watch ‘Ramaleela’ so that justice can be done, says the actress.
