Protest over Thuglaqian decision by Telangana CM with tax payer’s money

Controversy is mounting up over Telangana government’s decision to sent their 1000 officers to Israel for a pleasure trip with taxpayer’s money. The junket trip announced by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekar Rao invited protest from opposition parties like Congress and BJP.
 
At the same time, opposition parties alleged that the proposed Junket trip is a wastage of public money. The official announcement of the same is made at Assembly. It said that 1000 officers from agriculture department will be going on a junket trip in batches of 100.
 
The officers will go to Israel for training in various farming techniques that can be replicated in the state.The trip mainly focused to study micro-irrigation techniques & will receive training on choosing crops for best yield.
 
The government will send farmers to the foreign country in order to learn to farm later. Meanwhile, the opposition has called the move by the government as wastage of money, saying the state farmers need farm loan waiver, better MSP than this kind of extravaganza.
