Honor launches’ V10′ with ‘Dual Camera’ setup…

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched the V10 smartphone.The Honor V10 flaunts a metal body, and buyers will be able to choose from four color options of blue, black, gold and red.

The Honor V10 is powered by the in-house Ai-based chipset, Kirin 970 SoC.The smartphone also comes with facial recognition as an added level of security. Honor also says that the AI is capable of detecting when someone else is using the smartphone, and immediately hides calls and messages. It also automatically rotates the screen horizontally or vertically according to what the smartphone is being used for.

Honor has also partnered with Microsoft for its translation tools, which are integrated into the V10. With this, the Honor V10 is said to offer real-time translation for different languages.

Honor V10 specifications and features

The Honor V10 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and a 2.5D glass on top. In terms of memory, the Honor V10 comes in three variants – 64GB storage plus 4GB of RAM, 64GB plus 6GB of RAM, and 128GB storage plus 6GB of RAM.

The Honor V10 sports a dual-camera setup, which includes a combination of 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel sensors of f/1.8 aperture. The smartphone is fueled by a 3,750mAh battery along with support for fast charging. Its connectivity options include dual-SIM support (hybrid SIM slots), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor that is embedded into the home button. On the software front, the Honor V10 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 layered on top.

Honor V10 prices

The base variant (64GB+4GB RAM) is priced at approximately Rs 26,400. The mid-variant (64GB+6GB RAM) is priced at approximately Rs 29,300, and the top variant (128GB+6GB RAM) is priced at approximately Rs 34,200.
