Reports of EVM malfunction coming from Surat and Amreli; VVPAT not working in some places. The Opposition has alleged that EVMs in Patidar areas have malfunctioned.

At 10:09, 16 EVMs malfunction in Rajkot district, around 8 have malfunctioned in Porbandar. Reports have emerged that three EVMs are not working properly in Amreli and five have malfunctioned in Valsad
At 11:10, Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel casts his vote in Bharuch’s Ankleshwar
At 11:17, Senior Congress leader from Porbandar, Arjun Modhwadia, has made a sensational charge over the malfunctioning. Modhwadia has complained that EVMs machine is being manipulated with a WiFi connection.
So far, 9.77% voter turnout till 10:00 am has been reported. The voting will finish a 5:00 pm.
