A teenage girl student died while another was injured when they allegedly jumped from the fourth floor of a restaurant in Salem, police said on Saturday.
The parents of the two girls had lodged a complaint with Pallapatti police after they didn’t return home from school on Friday. The police, who were investigating, received information this morning that the two girls had jumped from a restaurant Agrahara second street.
The students are studying in 8th standard, in which one student died on the spot and the other seriously injured, got admitted to the government hospital.
The reason behind this incident is still unknown, investigations are on to ascertain for the student’s action.
