The idea of having an arranged marriage strikes everyone at least once in a lifetime. You might not even go for an arranged marriage setup, but still, you think about it. Don’t you? And when you do, one of the first questions that pops into your head is “What kind of first night do an arranged marriage couple have? Is it…awkward?!”

1.EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE UPTO

This is a super embarrassing moment when your entire clan knows what you guys are going to do. Even if you are too tired and simply want to doze off, your cousins, aunts and uncles will never let the opportunity go—they will not only escort you to the room but crack jokes you can probably do best without.

2.A BED FULL OF ROSES

What’s with all the decorations? You may like it or not, but there will be flowers and sometimes a few creative geniuses of the family will fill the room with embarrassing gifts. Don’t be surprised if you get a packet of condom or a tube of lubricant!
