In a pleasant turn of events, these 10 Indian films have been given the highest ratings by IMDB users, based on the same criteria as the popular Top Rated charts. IMDb’s Top Rated charts are based on the actual ratings from IMDb’s regular voters.
Vikram Vedha has topped the list followed by other films. The first time a film beats Baahubali 2 to claim the first spot.
The list comprises primarily of south films with six movies of this year part of this list. To think the top 3 slots have been taken over by South! This indeed the year of South! Check out the list!

“Socially conscious movies such as Secret Superstar, Hindi Medium, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, and Mersal resonated among users. Additionally, three of IMDb’s Top 10 Stars of 2017 Indian Cinema (Tamannaah Bhatia, who ranked No. 5; Prabhas, who ranked No. 6; and Anushka Shetty, who ranked No. 9) all starred together in the international blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which was the highest-grossing Indian movie of the year.”
Baahubali 2 actors also made it to IMDB’s list of Top Indian actors of Indian Cinema. In fact, the magnum opus dominated the list as Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Prabhas made it to the list.
