A political party approached police seeking action against Bollywood actors Salman Khan and actress Shilpa Shetty for their alleged casteist utterances in TV shows.

Khan appearing on a TV show purportedly said: “My dance step is looking like bh***gi.”
The complainant Navin Lade said he received the video clip when he was near the Andheri police station on Wednesday.
He also demanded an FIR be filed against Shetty who in a TV interview ostensibly said: “I look like bh***gi.”
Valmiki community has been protesting against the remarks demanding legal action against the duo.
Paramjit Singh Dahiya, deputy commissioner of police, zone IX said no FIR has been registered even as a letter of complaint was received by the Andheri police.insulted and intimidated with intent to humiliate and abused” by using derogatory comments denoting a scheduled caste community.
