Xiaomi Redmi Y1 features and specifications

 

Xiaomi  Redmi Y1 has been launched at a price point of Rs 8,999 for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant and Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.

 

Redmi Y1 Lite is the cheaper sibling in the selfie-centric series at a price of Rs 6,999. Radmi Y1 is Xiaomi’s first smartphone in India which features selfie light and a 16 MP front facing camera. It has a 13MP f/2.0 rear camera. The device has 5.5 inch HD display with Corning Gorilla glass and is powered by a 3,080mAh battery.

 

Redmi Y1 houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core chipset, a dedicated micro-SD card slot and dual-SIM (nano+nano) slots. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the rear of the device.Redmi Y1, the smartphone features a 13 MP f/2.0 rear camera and is powered by a 3080mAh battery.

 

Lenovo K8 Plus features and specifications

 

Lenovo K8 Plus — the latest addition in the newly introduced K8 series — was launched in India for Rs 9,999. The handset runs stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box — similar to what we saw on K8 Note.

 

A highlight of K8 Plus is a vertical dual rear camera setup with 13MP Purecel Plus sensor + 5MP depth sensor and f/2.0 Largan Precision 5-element lens. There is an 8MP front camera that comes with flash.

 

Lenovo K8 Plus is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P25 chipset.The Octa-core chip is clocked at 2.6GHz coupled with 3GB RAM that results in smooth overall performance.

 

K8 Plus has 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB.The 5.2-inch full HD display comes with Gorilla glass and Oleophobic coating.

 

There is a dedicated music key that can be customised by the user according to needs. A 4,000mAh battery powers K8 Plus that the company claims would last two days.

 

Xiaomi Redmi 5A features and specifications

 

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5A (2GB RAM variant) for Rs 5,999 in India.The smartphone also comes in a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage version that will retail at Rs 6,999. Xiaomi Redmi 5A is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset and houses a 3,000mAh battery. Redmi 5A sports a 5-inch fully-laminated HD display.

 

There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot that can expand the memory up to 128GB along with comes with two SIM card slots that support simultaneous use 4G network.

 

In terms of camera specifications, the device houses a 13MP primary camera with an aperture of f/2.2, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and flash and 5MP selfie camera.It runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system (OS).

 

Panasonic Eluga Ray features and specifications

 

Panasonic India launched smartphones Eluga Ray at Rs 7,999 for the domestic consumers.he device sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3 GHz MTK Quad-Core Processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB on-board memory that can be expanded up to 64GB.

 

The mid-range smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a 4,000mAh battery power.The 4G/VOLTE-enabled Eluga Ray features 5MP front camera with flash efficient for video calling and a rear 13MP camera. For connectivity, the device has a dual-SIM configuration, direct Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

 

Micromax Canvas Infinity features and specifications

 

Micromax has launched its first bezel-less smartphone “Canvas Infinity” at Rs 8,959 that comes with a display aspect ratio of 18:9 — a first in this price segment.

 

The 18:9 format offers more viewing space and a better immersive experience while streaming videos and playing games. The display is similar to Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ and LG G6 that has an aspect ratio of 18:9 for enhanced picture quality.

 

The rear side houses a single-lens primary camera with 13MP sensor, 81.5-degree field of view, 5P lens and LED flash and an aperture of f/2.0. Another highlight of Canvas Infinity is 16-MP front camera that comes with soft “selfie” flash and an aperture of f/2.0.

The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. A 2900mAh battery powers the device. Micromax has used minimal bezels to accommodate a 5.7-inch HD IPS display topped with 2.5D curved glass in a frame that is slightly taller than wider.

 

Other specifications include 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot. Micromax is also offering a 24-hour service promise on ‘Canvas Infinity’. Other connectivity options like 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are also supported.

 

Xiaomi Redmi 4 features and specifications

 

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched another budget smartphone Redmi 4 in India along with Mi Router 3C, the company’s first smart router for the country.

 

Redmi 4 comes in three variants 2GB RAM+16GB storage, 3GB RAM+32GB storage and 4GB RAM+64GB storage — priced at Rs 6,999, Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999, respectively.

 

The 5-inch HD device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor, runs on MIUI 8 with Android N Preview. Redmi 4 sports 13MP rear camera and houses 4,100mAh battery. The camera performance is good, outdoor shots are clean, with appreciable amount of detailing. Colours also don’t appear overly saturated.

 

Coolpad Note 5 Lite C features and specifications

 

Chinese technology company Coolpad has launched its ‘Note 5 Lite C’ first offline product at Rs 7,777 for the Indian market.The smartphone, with a 5-inch full HD display, sports an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

 

The device is powered by Snapdragon 210, 1.1 GHz quad-core processor paired up with 2GB RAM and an internal memory of 16GB that is expandable up to 64GB. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 and houses 2,500mAh non-removable battery.

 

Moto E4 Plus features and specifications

 

Lenovo-owned Motorola is set to extend its Moto series by launching in India on July 12 the Moto E4 Plus featuring a massive 5,000mAh battery. The stand-alone feature of the device is its battery that can run for long hours and supports fast charging.

 

The device features a 5.5-inch HD display and sports a 13MP rear camera and single-LED flash support and a 5MP front camera.  The device has a metal unibody design with curved back. Its home button doubles as a fingerprint sensor.
