If the initial reports are an indication then deputy SP of Rajasthan’s Churu district, Hukum Singh, has summoned the duo for allegedly using ‘Bhangi’ word in a TV show. This has hurt the sentiments of the Valmiki community, says the report.

While referring to his dancing skills Salman Khan used the word ‘bhangi’ which has irritated the community. Same way while referring to her dressing sense at home Shilpa said that she looks like a ‘bhangi’ at home.
The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) had also sought replies from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and the police commissioners of Delhi and Mumbai over the issue after it received a complaint from an ex-chairman of the Delhi Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Harnam Singh.
