The controversial film has enraged Rajput groups who declared that the epoch production disrespects history and hurts the sentiments of their community. Several acts of vandalism were reported in different parts of the country during protests against the film.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmaavat” was released on January 25, days after the Supreme Court gave its nod to the film.

Meanwhile, Karni Sena faction in Kerala has also threatened to stop the screening if the Kerala Government doesn’t ban the film in the state.

It was only a few days before when few hooligans attacked a school bus carrying children at Gurugram.
