TV serial actress Hiba Nawab who is currently seen as Elaichi in serial ‘Jijaji Chhat Par Hai’ is suffering from Dengue. She has been reportedly admitted to a Mumbai Hospital owing to high fever.

Her mother confirmed the news, She said, “It’s been four days now Hiba has been admitted to the hospital. She was not keeping well for the past one week. Initially, she has a mild fever but after consulting the doctor, we got to know that she is diagnosed with dengue. She was rushed to the hospital immediately from the shoot.”

om inquiring about Hiba’s health condition, she added, “Hiba’s health is not recovering at all. The fever is not under control and her platelets are dropping rapidly. The doctors have asked us to not worry and have assured us that she will be fine in next 2-3 days. I am just praying for her to recover soon.”

Well, Hiba is not the first actress who got diagnosed with dengue while shooting. Other actors including Nikita Dutta, Kamya Punjabi, Lovely Sasa, Karanvir Bohra, Kunal Verma, Dipika Samson and Ratan Rajput had also been hospitalized because of dengue. In fact, few of these actors came out in open and blamed their unhygienic conditions in their workplace to be the reason for them to have fallen ill.

Last year, while speaking Nikita Dutta who was then admitted due to dengue said, “We generally shoot in the area where the hygiene is not very well maintained. And that is why I got diagnosed with dengue. The production people should keep a tight watch on the cleanliness of the set.”

Almost two years back actor Dipika Samson who too suffered from Dengue attributes the pollution in India for the rise in such diseases.

TV actor Kunal Verma had lost one of the important projects due to dengue. The actor was replaced by another one at the last moment.

He blamed the production houses for not taking care of cleanliness on sets.
