Honda plans to win over Indian market with these affordable new models

Honda is trying to heat up the competition in India as hey plans to launch three new models over the coming year. The company also plans to launch an SUV which is in the range of 12-15 lakhs.

The company which sold 1.8 cars last year has already lined up brand new Amaze. This car which will be first to launch is priced at 5 lakh.

Apart from the Amaze the company also trying to bring back Civic premium sedan and the CR-V luxury SUV. The Civic was phased out by the company owing to poor demand. But now Honda feels that it might be the right time to relaunch it. The relaunched model will cost 14 lakhs.

CR-V which at the moment is available in limited range will be presented in a brand new form and will be available in the diesel option for the first time.

Honda is trying to up the ante as they are facing lot much competition in the country. In the best of their times, they were only able to sell 2 lakh units per year despite having a capacity to produce 2.4 lakh cars a year.

HR-V SUV is a model which the company is hopeful of introducing in India. The model which company claims to be successful in many other markets will be available in Petrol and diesel models.
