Yogi Adityanath is the rising star campaigner for BJP; His next target is CPI(M) ruled Tripura

Man in the saffron robes, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yodi Adityanath is fast becoming the star campaigner for BJP in poll-bound states. His position as the chief priest of the “Nath Panth” temple in Gorakhpur along with the tag of Chief Minister of UP is increasing his appeal.

BJP hopes to bank more on his position as a priest in Gorakhpur temple as they believe that it can help wonders in bringing towards BJP the votes of ‘Shaivite’ subsect adherents.

Recently he was seen campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the states of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. He was also seen campaigning for BJP in Karnataka which is a Congress-ruled state.

His next target is Tripura where he hopes to tilt a significant number of Nath sect followers towards BJP so that they can win the state which is currently ruled by Manik Sarkar-led Communist party of India. CPI(M) is strong in the state and BJP hopes to overcome the hurdle with the help of Yogi Adyatnath.

Tripura has a considerable section of Nath sect followers but has no reservation in the state. So people like Nikhil Devnath who is the chief priest at Gorakshnath Temple in Agartala hope that Yogi Adityanath will help in changing the situation.

He also visited Kerala to campaign for BJP in the ‘Janaraksha Yatra’.
