Funeral home workers in China got the shock of their lives after a “dead” man that they were preparing a burial for, actually turned out to be still alive. The man – identified by numerous reports by his surname, Huang – is from Shiyan, Hubei province of China.
The man was suffering from terminal stomach cancer for several months before his wife, Chen assumed him to be dead after she discovered him in a limp state. Without checking properly, the wife called the morgue and had his body taken away.
On her call to the morgue, she allegedly told them that her husband had passed away at home early that morning and she was very scared. She then asked them to come and take his remains away. The wife claimed that her husband had stopped breathing.
When Huang’s body arrived at the morgue, no one noticed that he was still alive until the next morning when mortuary cosmetologist began applying his makeup in preparation for his funeral. The funeral home workers reportedly saw the man’s mouth move slightly nd immediately notified the motuary’s director. The director – known only by his surname, Ren – checked Huang’s pulse and declared him as still being alive.
