Siddaramaiah sends legal notice to PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has sent civil and criminal defamation notices to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, BJP CM face BS Yeddyurappa and to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

A Karnataka channel reported that “CM Siddaramaiah is aggrieved over PM Modi over derogatory ads against him, claims all allegations – false and fabricated. Siddaramaiah, not only served a legal notice to the PM, seeking a public apology, but also sought Rs 100 cr defamation charges.”

Yesterday, the BJP had accused the Karnataka chief minister of ‘aiding, abetting, protecting and promoting’ the cheating of private investors in an alleged Ponzi scheme run by a company.

Party spokesperson Sambit Patra had said that the saffron party will be filing a complaint with the governor to sanction the prosecution of Siddaramaiah for dealing with the company.
