Facial recognition is becoming an unsaid prerequisite, because of the inaccurate recognition a new study has revealed.
The UK’s Metropolitan Police’s Facial recognition software returned incorrect matched in 98 percent of the cases, Cnet reports. As per the data needed, only two of the 104 alerts generated by the facial-recognition software used by the Police were intercepted to be accurate matches.

Biometrics-based security systems are considered more safe and exclusive to the owner. However, if these statistics are anything to go by, then consumers and businesses are likely to have a hard time relying on the technology for their privacy needs.
