After provocation,PAK Forces beg Indian Forces to stop firing

The center’s decision for a ceasefire during the holy month of Ramadan was retaliated by Pakistan with heavy shelling and firing. The BSF retaliated and now the Pakistani Forces are begging to the Indian Soldiers to stop firing.

As per the accounts of a senior BSF officer, the unprovoked firing of Pakistan was given a befitting reply by the BSF. For the last three days, the precision fire of BSF troopers on Pakistani firing locations had inflicted heavy losses and last day this firing had found their mark with one of the rangers in the chicken neck area, he said.

The paramilitary Pakistan Rangers has called up BSF and beseeched to stop firing, added the BSF officer. An infrared camera footage showing a BSF rocket hitting its target, a Pakistani bunker, and creating a mass explosion has been released by the BSF.

BSF Inspector General Ram Awatar had said on Friday,” If they are targeting us, they are getting an appropriate reply. We were expecting such an incident because the harvesting season is over and once harvesting season gets over, they always do such mischief”

The Pakistani Bunker had been located in the highly strategic ‘Chicken’s Neck Area’ which is surrounded on three sides by Pakistani forces. The exact place is Akhnoor, which is located some 30kms from Jammu.

Pakistan un provocatively had been attacking Indian positions with heavy mortars. On Friday, 5 persons including 1 BSF Jawan and 4 civilians were dead on indiscriminate shelling and firing by Pakistan. Sitaram Upadhyay who joined BSF in 2011 was the Jawan who was killed in the firing.

On May 15, Devender Singh, another BSF Jawan was also killed in Pakistani firing. Including his death, the number of people killed in over 700 incidents of Pakistani Shelling along the International Border and Line of Control(LoC) reached 34. Among this 34, 18 are security personnel.
