Discrimination towards girl child is a serious issue that’s still happening in many countries around the world. Now an instance of this nasty discrimination has been reported from Saudi Arabia. A woman from Saudi Arabia filed a lawsuit against the hospital for child swapping when she came to know that her newly born is a girl. According to the report by 7ail News Site, minutes after giving birth, the mother had asked the doctor how was her new born doing and the doctor’s reply had been”infant is doing great”.The use of the word “infant” by the daughter made an impression in the mother’s mind that the new born was a boy.

The hospital denied the allegation by explaining that gender-neutral terms are often used by the hospital staff. Anyway, the woman later withdrew the complaint after negotiations with the hospital and also took her baby girl home.
