In Kozhikode, Kerala after the wedding, Vibheesh TT started receiving hundreds of calls from people asking for the meaning of the wife’s peculiar name. The couple’s wedding card along with a photo had earlier gone viral on social media as the bride had an unusual name.
One of their family members shared the cards on WhatsApp group from where it was shared widely on different social media platforms. But the internet’s bane did not end there, people called up the man asking the right pronunciation of his wife’s name.
Vibheesh has decided to file a police complaint after he and his father Velayadhan, whose phone numbers were printed on the card were bombarded with calls by curious people. Interestingly, the card had a description which read that only those who can pronounce the name of the bride can come to the wedding. The bride’s name is Dhyanoorhanagithy.
Neither is Dhyanoorhanagithy glad about the whole scenario. Vibheesh said, “She is angry and upset. I have got messages and calls. One of my former classmates who called yesterday wanted to know why I was getting married to a person with that name. How does it matter to them?”
