Ingredients

  • 1 cup idli dosa mixture
  • 4 large grains of rice
  • 1/3 cup jaggery
  • 3 large coconut, tighten
  • 1 big fat oily pie
  • Salt, according to taste
  • Water, according to experiment
  • Oil, according to experiment

How to make

  • To make Chettinad Sweet Paniyaram, first add Idli dosa mixture, rice semolina, jaggery, coconut, salt, eliichi powder, a little water and mix in a mixing bowl.
  • Put aside for 5 minutes separately and mix again. Heat the paniyaram pan and pour some oil in every hole.
  • After heated, add the mixture to it and cover it. Cook on low flame.
  • After cooking with one side, turn it over and cook on the other side. Cook from both sides until golden. Remove from pan and serve
  • Serve the Chettinad Sweet Paniyaram for an evening snack or breakfast with a spice tea or filter coffee.
