Nisha Jose K Mani,Daughter in law of senior leader of Kerala Congress (M) K M Mani and wife of Jose K Mani was allegedly defamed and abused via social media by Majeesh Kochumala who hails from Ettumanoor. The accused moved a petition for an anticipatory bail which was rejected by the court.

Court observed that the crime was of serious nature as Majeesh has continuously used social media sites to abuse Nisha Jose K Mani.Having denied the bail, it is heard that he has gone hiding to escape a possible arrest.
Along with the name of Majeesh a few other names are heard too. Owners of Facebook account in the names of James Chacko, Firoz Firu, Sibichan Abraham and Ansar are also listed among the accused.
Majeesh is the social media coordinator of Janadhipathya Kerala Congress party and state general secretary of the party’s youth front.
