Despite there being many rules; regulations and schemes, ragging still continues. And this recent video is one such incident.
A student from Kolkata’s St Paul’s college located in Amherst Street was allegedly stripped naked and tortured on May 17, a media report claimed on Saturday. The victim also tried to end his life but failed in his attempts, after going through all the humiliation.
According to the report, on May 17, a fundraising event was organised in the college of which the former students were part as well. A first-year student, who is also the victim of the incident, enquired about the expenses of the event. Following which, he was allegedly beaten up and stripped naked by the former students. They even recorded the whole incident and spread the video around. In the video, the victim could be seen crying and trying to hide due to embarrassment.

No complaint has been lodged with the police as of now, though, the students of the college have decided to report the matter to the police.
