Ramadan Special Recipe: Dates Halwa

We can prepare the varieties of recipes using the Dates. This recipe is very easy and it takes only a few minutes. The recipe includes only two ingredients: Dates and Ghee.

Dates hydrate your body and provide instant energy after long hours of fasting. So, dates halwa is one of the best Iftar recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth without guilt.

Preparation:

Boil milk and dates in a pan. Keep cooking until the milk turns thick in texture. Meanwhile, fry cashews in ghee and keep aside. When the milk-dates mixture turns thick, add sugar, ghee, and fried cashews in it. Cook halwa until mixture leaves sides of the pan. Add green cardamoms and mix well. Transfer halwa on a greased surface and let it cool for 15 minutes. Slice into equal-sized pieces. Enjoy!
