Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on hunger strike, hospitalized

When Arvind Kejriwal and Co’s Dharna at Lieutenant Governor’s office has become a political and social issue in India, Manish Sisodia, Delhi DY Chief Minister has been hospitalized after his ketone level shoots up to 7.4.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said in a tweet that Manish Sisodia’s ketone level saw an increase from 6.4 to 7.4, where it should be zero and also more than 2 was considered dangerous. He added that a team of doctors would be reaching LG Office to see him.

For the past 6 days, Sisodia has been accompanying Kejriwal and other AAP Ministers in the Dharna at Lieutenant Governor’s office demanding to stop the alleged strike by IAS officials.

On Sunday Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain was hospitalized due to a headache, nausea, and breathing problems. He handles 6 ministries in the AAP government and now he is under treatment in LNJP hospital.

Since June 11, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal along with Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, and Delhi Development Minister Gopal Rai had been camping at Anil Baijal’s, Delhi Lieutenant Governor, waiting room demanding the calling off of the strike by IAS bureaucrats.

Thousands of AAP Party workers accompanied by their leaders marched to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence on Sunday giving full support to their ministers’ protest.
