Now, a former BJP member himself attended the publication event of a book which has been deemed inappropriate by his party.

Arun Shourie demanded a clear understanding of the real history of Kashmir and then finding solutions. The former central minister alleged that the BJP government had no far-sighted policies on the neighboring countries like Pakistan and China. He added that the ruling front only took stands which were either situational or election based.
