Debuting into Indian cinema with the Tamil film ‘Sei’, and her second blockbuster, ‘Irattu Arayill Murattu Kuthu’, Chandrika has been recognized for her talent and been lucky to star opposite and work with some of the biggest names in Kollywood and has been named to take the Indian film industry by storm.
In the recent years, she has also won the title of Miss Maxim India Runner Up and also placed as a finalist in Miss World Australia and Miss India Australia. She continues her passion for modelling with many commercial campaigns and appearing in renowned international magazines.
Chandrika has trained in the classical Indian dance styles of Bharathanatyam and Kathak, along with Bollywood and Theatre at The Temple of Fine Arts; and also undertook studies in Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary at The Australian National Youth Performing Arts Group. She has also undertaken intensive acting studies at Murdoch University and The New York Film Academy to name a few.
Ambition, passion, drive, humility and her unique look have attracted many job prospects and wowed audiences around the globe. Through her achievements she has become a role model to Indian females everywhere, one of the biggest blessings she could ever ask for, instilling hope and determination that they too can break the mould!
