Recently Rahul Gandhi has been seen much pondering over the plight of farmers. In the course, he had to face a really tough question from BJP Kisan Morcha leader Virendra Singh ‘Mast’.Singh put forward an offer of his visit to Raga’s if he could recognize wheat, paddy, Jowar and Bajra(Perl millet).
Reiterating the commitment of both the Centre and State in doubling the income of farmers by 2022, Singh who is a Lok Sabha MP from Bhadohi in UP said that agriculture was not a Vyavsayee(business) but a Jeevan Dhara(stream of life). He said that BJP believed in the social, economic and cultural development of farmers that would further aid in the prosperity of the nation.

A plan by Kisan Morcha to honour Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath through holding 6 ‘Krishi-Rishi’ programmes in the state was also unveiled by Virendra Singh. Yogi was chosen because it was his government which launched several farmer welfare schemes, said Singh.
