England V India T20: Kuldeep, Rahul too hot to handle for England

Legspin has always been the nemesis for English cricket team, if it’s a Chinaman, things are only getting worse.

On Tuesday when England met India for the first T20, it was Kuldeep Yadav’s left hand legspin that proved too hot to handle for England. He returned impressive figures of 4-0-24-5 that literally broke the backbone of English batting. Later K.L Rahul 101(54) made a mockery of the total and won it in 18.2 overs.
Score England 159 for 8 in 20 overs.
India 163 for 2 in 18.2 overs. India Won by 8 wickets.

Earlier, the English team did put up a par score, as it managed 160 after being asked to bat by India. Jos Butler carried his impressive form scoring 69(46) to give his team a respectable total. Umesh Yadav(2 for 21 in 4 overs) had a good day too while Bhuvaneshwar Kumar(none for 45 in 4 overs) had an unusual bad day.

India lost Shikhar Dhawan early in the chase, but then K.L Rahul coming in at number 3 and Rohit Sarma together put a huge partnership to take the game away from England. K.L Rahul’s innings completely demoralised the opposition as he sent the fielders to all parts on a leather hunt.  Rohit Sarma seemed happy to play the second fiddle. He was eventually dismissed for 32(29). Virat Kohli too got some batting practice, scoring 14(21)
