Ranbir has been in quite a few relationships and is currently rumoured to be dating his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s dating rumours have been doing the rounds for quite some time now and it gained ground after the duo made an appearance together at Sonam Kapoor’s reception.
The rumours of Ranbir and Alia’s alleged relationship started when Ranbir and Alia began shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. During their shoot, they were spotted spending a lot of time with each other.
According to a report in an entertainment website, it all started when Imtiaz Ali invited Ranbir, Katrina and Alia to an intimate gathering at his place. Ranbir’s fondness for Alia “went a little over-the-top” at the bash, and Katrina was left feeling extremely insecure.
In fact, Katrina is said to have even confronted Ranbir about it, but he brushed it off. However, Katrina was not pacified, and hoped that her good friend Ayan Mukerji will let Alia go from his ambitious film, Brahmastra, which also starred Ranbir.
When a leading daily asked Alia to comment on rumours that it was she who drove a wedge between Ranbir and Katrina, she said, “I read that I was the cause of the Ranbir-Katrina break-up. It was so ridiculous that I didn’t think it needed a clarification.”
