Supreme Court has said that the young couple- Harrison from Trivandrum District of Kerala and Shahana from Kannur district, can live together. The couple had come under some threat from extreme Islam organisations like SDPI. Shahana was produced in the court following a complaint from her parents.

In the court, Shahana said that she had married Harrison. The court checked the marriage documents and allowed her to go with her husband. Although Shahanas relatives were present, they didn’t raise any objection.
Shahana and Harrison’s marriage drew some eyeballs as they made a post in Facebook saying that they have death threat from SDPI activists.
