3 minor boys have been noted by the police for thrashing a 34-year-old man who called on their indecent behavior.
On Wednesday-Thursday, a senior architect was beaten up by 3 minor boys as he had objected to them passing lewd comments on his female friend in Bengaluru. Although the juveniles had escaped, a police case has been registered against them.
SO WHAT REALLY HAPPENED?
According to a leading daily’s report, Sharath and his scientist wife were out to a pub and restaurant for dinner on Wednesday late night, when they saw a female software engineer drunk and unable to walk. Sharath’s wife told him that they should drop her to her place as it was very late.
The couple took the female to her PG accommodation where she was staying. The couple helped her out of the car and the wife had taken her up to her room on the 2nd floor of the building.

While Sharath was waiting at the car, three juveniles aged between 16 and 17 who are watching them, started passing lewd comment on the drunk girl. Since they were minors, Sharath warned them not to speak and said he would call the police.
As soon as he took out his mobile, one of the juveniles pounced on him and snatched his mobile phone, while another boy took out knuckle rings from his pocket and punched Sharath on his face and other parts of the body.
Though Sharath shouted for help, the security guard of the building who was watching the fight did not intervene. However, the boys escaped in a motorcycle when Sharath’s wife along with other PG occupants rushed to help. Sharath who sustained injuries on his face approached the police and lodged a complaint.
The police have booked a case against the trio under section 384 (extortion) arrested juveniles and produced them before a court, which sent them to state-run correctional home.
