2nd such raid

Minors who were sold into sex racket were found and rescued by the police who acted on the basis of a tip.

The incident took place at the temple town Yadagirigutta, Telangana.

The police on Thursday arrested six traffickers including four women and rescued four children aged below 10 from the brothels and also the RMP, who was allegedly giving Oxytocin injections to the pre-teen girls to hit early puberty.

Yadadri Bhongir district DCP E. Ramchandra Reddy said that the police teams raided the brothel houses and arrested Kamsani Nagalaxmi, Kamsani Naresh, Kamsani Swapna, Kamsani Kumari, Kamsani Rajini and Kamsani Yellesh, besides arresting an RMP (Kammagiri Narasimha, 40, who ran Anuradha Nursing Home.

“Narasimha, who was only authorized to administer first-aid, was also performing tubectomy, hernia and cesarean operations of the patients and collecting huge money illegally. He had also injected Oxytocin to pre-teen girls trafficked by the brothel organizers for enhanced physical growth,” said the DCP.

Further, it was found that another 30 children have been admitted to a private school in Yadagirigutta by creating false documents on their names by the traffickers, who claimed to be their guardians. “The details of the children will be verified and necessary action is taken if they are found to be trafficked,” said DCP Reddy.

He also said that the traffickers have secret places in their homes, where they can hide the women and children during police raids. Three such places have been identified in the houses that were raided late on Wednesday. The raids will further continue until all the children are rescued.

This is the second such raid in the town as on July 31 eight human traffickers, including six women were arrested, and 11 minor girls rescued from brothels at Yadagirigutta.
