The Depression over coastal Odisha and neighbourhood moved west-northwestwards and lay over Odisha centred near Lat. 20.1 N and Long. 85.6 E, yesterday evening, the 15th August 2018.
Today it has been reported that it further moved westwards and is now over Cbhattisgarh and adjoining Vidarbha centered at 0830 hrs IST.

In all probability, it will move west-northwestwards and weaken eventually into a low-pressure area during the next 24 years. The weather department has said that the intensity of rain in Kerala will be reduced but it will continue to rain till 19th. Rain is expected to continue in 7 districts tomorrow. Fishermen are asked not to go to the sea.
