Atal Bihari Vajpayee who was the former Prime Minister passed away at 93 today, August 16. He was one of the founding members of the Bhartiya Janata Party and besides being a politician, he was a poet who contributed to arts and culture through his philosophy and songs.
Bollywood celebrities have come out with special messages for remembering the former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Actor Sanjay Dutt wrote, “Indeed a big loss for our country as we pay our last tribute to #AtalBihariVajpayee ji. He was a close family friend and his legacy will forever be remembered. Thank you for your selfless service, sir! My heartfelt condolence to everyone.” In fact, even megastar Rajinikanth tweeted saying, “I’m saddened to hear the demise of a great statesman Shri.Vajpayee ji. May his soul Rest In Peace.”
