The benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty today ended with modest gains after logging losses in last two sessions. In a volatile trade, both indices gained around 0.2% amid positive global cues.
The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 87 points to end at 36,195. The Nifty at National Stock Exchange also added 18 points to settle at 10,850.
