National award winner Eminent cinematographer Santhosh Sivan will crank the camera for Rajanikanth’s new film. Rajinikanth’s next film would be with director A.R. Murugadoss. The project will be funded by Lyca Productions. Santhosh Sivan shared this information through his official Twitter handle.
Santhosh Sivan is involved with his directorial venture – Jack and Jill in Malayalam, which features Manju Warrier in the lead. While the untitled film will mark the collaboration of Santosh and Rajini after 20 years, the former has worked with Murugadoss more recently on Thuppakki and Spyder.
Santosh Sivan, one of Indian cinema’s most respected cinematographers, has previously collaborated with director Murugadoss in ‘Thuppakki’ and ‘Spyder’. With Rajinikanth, he has worked in the Mani Ratnam directorial ‘Thalapathi’. The veteran’s frames in ‘Thalapathi’ is celebrated even after two decades of its release.
According to director Murugadoss, his movie with Rajinikanth will be a complete mass entertainer just like how the fans expect.
