At least 11 persons were killed in a blast in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday afternoon. The incident happened in Chauri area when the building of a carpet factory collapsed after a powerful explosion. The explosion reportedly took place due to the crackers that were stored inside the building.
Many persons are feared to be trapped under the debris of the building. Teams of NDRF have been pressed in for rescue operations.
