Olympic qualifiers: Indian women defeat Nepal in football

Indian women’s team defeated Nepal 3-1 in their second Round 2 match in the AFC Olympic Football Tournament Qualifiers in Mandalay, Myanmar today.

With this, India moved a step closer to a place in Asia’s last eight on the road to Tokyo 2020.  India moved to six points from two matches following Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Indonesia.

Indian women will face Myanmar on Tuesday.
