Rahul Gandhi Says Sam Pitroda Should be Ashamed of his Remarks on 184 Riots. Here is How P.M Modi Responded

Earlier senior Congress leader Sam Pitroda had brushed off the 1984 anti-Sikh riots by saying, “hua toh hua” (whatever happened, happened). Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP continued their attack on the Congress over Sam Pitroda’s remarks and then Congress president Rahul Gandhi too had sent some strong words of criticism against Pitroda.

“What Sam Pitroda said about 1984 (anti-Sikh riots) was totally wrong and he should seek an apology from the country. I am saying this publicly and I also said the same to him over the phone. Pitroda Ji, what you had said was completely wrong and you should be ashamed of yourself. You should seek public apology” said Congress President.

Now Prime Minister Narendra Modi has retorted, launching a direct attack on the Congress president: “Arrey naamdar, you should be ashamed.”

“I was watching that naamdar told his Guru that he should be ashamed of what he said. I want to ask naamdar, you pretended to scold your mentor for what? Because he exposed what was always in the Congress’s heart, and in the discussions of the naamdar family? Because he made public a family secret? Arrey naamdar, it is you who should be ashamed,” said the Prime Minister.
