A Wedding With No Bride. Check Out Why this Family Had to Do this

The least condition necessary for a marriage to take place is the presence of two people- a bride and a groom. But then Ajay Barot,27, married without a bride! It is that Ajay has a learning disability and his family couldn’t find a bride for him. But then that did not stop his family from throwing an elaborate wedding party to fulfil the dream of Ajay Barot.

Just like a regular wedding, before the marriage day, all the mehndi and sangeet ceremonies were held, which were attended by the close family and friends. Ajay on the marriage day looked like a handsome dulha in his wedding attire – a golden sherwani, beautiful pink headgear, and red and white rose garland.

The family printed and distributed wedding cards to friends and families. They all arrived. A day before the wedding, Ajay’s stepmother also hosted sangeet, puja, and other traditional ceremonies.

A grand wedding procession was held after the groom sat on a horse. Around 200 people, who were part of the procession, danced to the tune of native Gujarati music and drum beats.

Ajay is the eldest of the four children born to Vishnu Barot, a bus conductor at the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation. He was enrolled in a school for children with special needs but soon dropped out.
