The National Centre for Seismology has informed that a moderate earthquake has felt. The earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale hit Jammu and Kashmir at 12.02 pm on Saturday.

The epicentre of the earthquake was yet not known. There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property due to the earthquake.
