Imran Khan is charged with anti-terrorism, the governor of Indiana travels to Taiwan

Imran Khan, the former prime minister, is accused of threatening a judge and two police officers during a public event in Islamabad.

He has been arrested on terrorism-related charges. Deric Holcomb, the governor of Indiana, is the most recent member of Congress to visit Taiwan amid rising tensions with China. To the dismay of their ‘notorious’ neighbour, North Korea, the US and South Korea have started their annual joint military exercise.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman was booked under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA). For disregarding judicial and law enforcement authorities, Niazi has been the subject of a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

Following the signing of the CHIPS Act, the Republican governor will go to Taiwan and South Korea for ‘economic growth,’ according to a statement issued by Holcomb’s office (which allowed massive investments in the semiconductor chip manufacturing industry).

The military exercise began on August 22 and is anticipated to go through September 1. Tens of thousands of soldiers, tanks, planes, and warships will participate in the simulation on behalf of both sides.
