Abu Dhabi: Avu Dhabi authorities have announced 3-day weekend for government employees and government agencies and companies in the emirate. The holidays were announced to celebrate UAE National Day.
Employees will have a three-day weekend from Saturday, December 2, until Monday, December 4, 2023.December 1, Friday, has also been announced as ‘remote working day’.

Earlier, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) had declared December 2 and 3 as paid public holidays for private sector workers.
The National Day is celebrated in the UAE on December 2 and it marks the unification of the emirates into a federation. Also called the UAE Union Day, the UAE marks the National Day on December 2 every year to celebrate the unification of the Emirates in 1971. The country turns 52 this year.
