Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire gets outstanding run at the box office

Prabhas’ movie “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” is experiencing tremendous success at the box office since its release on December 22. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action thriller has been the top choice for audiences, managing to achieve remarkable box office numbers despite tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” and Jason Momoa’s “Aquaman 2.”

Within seven days of its release, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the worldwide box office. According to Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 86.05 crore in Telugu, Rs 9.65 crore in Malayalam, Rs 15.2 crore in Tamil, and Rs 92.5 crore in Hindi, resulting in a total collection of Rs 308.00 crore in India net.

Trade Analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the global box office numbers, stating that “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” has surpassed the Rs 550 crore gross mark. The film’s daily box office earnings are as follows: Day 1 – ?176.52 crore, Day 2 – ?101.39 crore, Day 3 – ?95.24 crore, Day 4 – ?76.91 crore, Day 5 – ?40.17 crore, Day 6 – ?31.62 crore, Day 7 – ?20.78 crore, and Day 8 – ?14.21 crore. The total global box office collection now stands at ?556.84 crore.

Upon its release, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” emerged as one of the biggest openers of 2023, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan.”

The movie’s storyline revolves around two friends, Deva (played by Prabhas) and Varadharaja Mannaar (played by Prithviraj), who start as inseparable friends but eventually become each other’s biggest enemies. The film also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, John Vijay, Ramachandra Raju, and Bobby Simha.
