Early on Thursday, a seismic event measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale struck the Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir, according to officials. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage resulting from the earthquake. The National Centre for Seismology revealed that the quake, centered near Kishtwar, took place at 12:38 am with coordinates at latitude 33.34 degrees north and longitude 76.67 degrees, occurring at a depth of five kilometers.
