Toyota launches Rumion Automatic G variant in India: Details

Mumbai: Toyota has launched Rumion’s mid-spec trim in automatic transmission named G . It has been released with a price tag of Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, the MPV can be purchased in both manual and automatic transmission.

Interested customers now can reserve the vehicle by paying a fully refundable token amount of Rs 11,000. It can be either booked through an authorized dealership or online via an official webiste. The deliveries will start on May 5, 2024.

The new variant has LED headlights, paired with LED tailamps at the back. It gets the company’s signature dark grill at the front, flaunting the chrome finish of Toyota’s logo at the front.  Rumion G automatic comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless car connect technology including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The company has included dual airbags at the front, making it equipped with EBD, ESP,  hill hold control, seat belt reminder, ISOFIX child seat, and speed alert among others. The highlight features include an engine start/stop switch, automatic temperature control, front fog lights and Toyota i-Connect connected car tech.

The vehicle is powered by a powered by a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine. The unit generates a maximum power of 102 Bhp at 6,000 rpm and 137 Nm at 4,400 rpm. The power source is mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
