Mohanlal’s upcoming crime thriller ‘Villain’ teaser was released yesterday. Ever since the release, the teaser has been trending virally in social medias. As of now, the teaser has fetched more than 3 million views and is also the fastest to reach the landmark achieving it in a record 22 hours time.
The record for fastest 3 million views was previously held by Mammootty’s The Great Father, which took 24 hours to reach the mark. Earlier Villain had also pipped the Mammootty starrer to clock one million views in a record 3 hours time.
Villain, directed by B Unnikrishnan.,starring Mohanlal, popular Tamil star Vishal, Manju Warrier, Raashi Khanna, Telugu actor Srikanth , Hansika Motwani and leading Malayalam stars. The movie also has a strong technical team. Acclaimed cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa is wielding the camera. It is the first Malayalam movie to be shot completely in 8K resolution.
Rockline Venkatesh who has produced movies like Lingaa and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, is funding Villain. Peter Hein is choreographing the stunts along with Stunt Silva. Music is composed by Oppam fame 4 Musics. Background score in the teaser was done by Prashanth Pillai. Shameer Mohammed of Charlie and Angamaly Diaries fame is handling the editing
