Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her first red carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday and she looked nothing short of magical.
Straight out of a fairy tale, Aishwarya looked stunning in a Micheal Cinco gown. Her make-up was subtle and she wore footwear by Ferragamo.
Ahead of her appearance at the red carpet, Aishwarya was spotted in a beautiful floral dress.

This is Aishwarya’s sixteenth year at the Cannes and she will also present her film Devdas at the festival this year. In 2002, Aishwarya had promoted the film in Cannes, when it had released, along with co-star Shah Rukh Khan and Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The 43-year-old actress represents cosmetics giant Loreal at the Cannes, and this year, she will also attend the brand’s Paris Open Air Cinema event. The outdoor cinema event, held from May 17-22 showcased films that will be selected and introduced in-person by six actress ambassadors of the beauty brand.
Her film Devdas was screened recently.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet on May 17 and 18 along with the international ambassadors, Julianne Moore and Susan Sarandon while Sonam Kapoor attended the event on May 21 and 22.
The Cannes Festival is an annual film festival held in the France city, which screens new films of all genres, including documentaries, from all around the world. Founded in 1946, the invitation-only festival is held annually.
The Cannes Film Festival which started on May 17 will conclude on May 28.
