The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emirates announced on Wednesday that working hours will be reduced from June 15 to September 15.
Reduction of working hours will be of two and a half hours, the ministry declared.
This midday break rule has been implemented due to the intense heat during peak summer months in the UAE.
Last year, too, the ministry had announced a midday break during the same period. The Ministry has also urged companies and workers to follow the rules strictly.
